About the Program
“There is a great amount of positive energy around campus about this sport. It’s a privilege to have the ability to offer student athletes the opportunity to compete at the highest level in an universal sport.” - Coach JP Weaver.
The program will teach student athletes, life lessons, character values, competitive skills, and how to build towards becoming a successful team. Most importantly, the program’s top goal will be working together to run the race as a marathon, building the foundation one day at a time.
Over 120 high school and middle school student athletes competed in the program during the 2023 season.
